What Aaused the Accident To Occur?
On Monday morning, at the Mahakal temple in Madhya Pradesh, during the Bhasma Aarti celebration in honour of Holi, a significant accident occurred. There were throngs of worshippers crammed into the temple for the Aarti. Simultaneously, the instant the gulal was blown, a fire started. This fire burned 13, persons, including the senior priest. According to Ujjain Collector Neeraj Kumar Singh, who provided details on this incident, a camphor fire broke out inside the sanctuary sanctorum of the Mahakal temple during the Bhasma Aarti. The Collector reported that all of the injured have been taken to the hospital and are safe.
Asked the State Government To Help the Victims
Prime Minister Modi requested the state administration to assist the victims and wished them a speedy recovery by sharing the post. The PM stated that the incident at the Mahakal Temple in Ujjain is very agonizing. I hope that all of the devotees hurt in this accident heal quickly. The state chief minister Mohan Yadav’s son and daughter were also at the temple during this horrible event. It has come to light that 13 persons, including the top priest, were burned. When CM Mohan Yadav arrived at Aurobindo Hospital in Indore to meet with the victims of the tragedy at Mahakal Temple, he spoke with the medical staff and asked about their conditions. Tulsiram Silavat and Kailash Vijayvargiya, Minister of Housing and Urban Development, were also present at this.

Home Minister Amit Shah posted on social media about the disaster that happened at the Mahakal temple in Ujjain and said he has spoken over the phone with the state’s chief minister about it. Sharing the post, Amit Shah stated that he spoke with Chief Minister Shri Mohan Yadav and received details on the fire that occurred in the Shri Mahakal Temple.
