Drake Viral Video Controversy

The artist criticized the Grammy Awards in an Instagram story just before the show was scheduled to live on Sunday, February 4. This is in addition to the purported Leaked video scandal.

The singer, who is nominated for multiple Grammy Awards this year for his 2022 album Her Loss with 21 Savage, took to Instagram on Sunday to claim that the award ceremony was irrelevant because it was not founded on factual information but rather the opinions of a few anonymous people. In his tales on Instagram, he wrote:

All you incredible artists remember this show isn’t the facts — it’s just the opinion of a group of people whose names are kept a secret. Literally. You can Google it. Congrats to anybody winning anything for hip hop, but this show doesn’t dictate shit in our world.

The remark was written by the artist, who made similar claims in the video of his 2019 Grammy victory speech. At the time, Variety reported that he said:

You’ve already won if you have people who are singing your songs word for word if you are a hero in your hometown. If there are people who have regular jobs who are coming out in the rain, in the snow, spending their hard-earned money to buy tickets to come to your shows, you don’t need this right here, I promise you, you already won.

To the latest scandal, the singer has not yet responded.
