Mithun Chakraborty has been hospitalised to Apollo Hospital in Kolkata due to his declining health. The actor was brought to the emergency ward after complaining of chest trouble. According to an official announcement from Apollo Hospital confirming the actor’s condition, Mithun has had a brain stroke.

Actor Shri Mithun Chakraborty (73), a National Award winner, was taken to the Apollo Multispeciality Hospital’s emergency department in Kolkata at 9.40 am with a complaint of weakness in his right upper and lower limbs, according to a statement released by the hospital. His brain MRI, as well as any other lab and radiological testing, have been completed.

How is The Current State Of Mithun?

The announcement further states that Mithun’s brain has been found to have an ischemic cerebrovascular accident (stroke). The actor is now following a gentle diet, fully aware, and in good health. According to the hospital, “a team of doctors including a neuro-physician, cardiologist, and gastroenterologist will further evaluate Mithun Chakraborty.” It was only a standard check-up, as his son Mimoh Chakraborty had already told E-Times, and Mithun is OK today.
