French President Emmanuel Macron announced on Friday, ahead of India’s 75th Republic Day festivities, his intention to welcome 30,000 Indian students to study in France. He had made same declaration the previous year, during France’s National Day, when the Prime Minister was the principal guest. A month has passed since Narendra Modi’s trip to Paris.

French President Emmanuel Macron shared this information on social media before to participating in the Republic Day procession on the Kattya Path. In his X handle, he said, “30,000 Indian students in France by 2030.” Although this is a really lofty objective, I’m committed to achieving it.”

The French President gave an explanation of how the Alliance Française and a system of international classrooms are being used to build new French language learning centres around the nation. According to him, France will help Indian graduates obtain visas for the nation.

“Coming to France means seeking excellence,” he said. “French for all, French for a better future” is the new curriculum that we are introducing to public schools. We are adding additional French language learning centres to the Alliance Franchise network. International classrooms are being established so that students who aren’t fluent in French may nonetheless enrol in our institutions.

Not to mention, we will make it easier for any former Indian student studying in France to get a visa.
