A significant move has been made in this regard by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting took enforcement action, banning 18 OTT platforms, 19 websites, and 10 applications.
Furthermore Prohibited Are 57 Social Media Accounts
In addition, 57 social media accounts have been banned. The Indian government claims that all of these websites and over-the-top platforms are in violation of the IT Act.
